Too cold and too busy this week

Ok, American Government has been working on Missouri government all week. We had two assignments - Monday and Tuesday. Our Missouri Constitution Exam will be Friday 12/11. This is required for graduation and students need to pass with a 70% or higher.

Sociology has been working on prejudice and discrimination. We read an article from the KC Star on Tuesday and completed an in-class simulation on Thursday. The goal is to take the quiz on Friday 12/11. Snow day might mess that up - we will have to see how the hour goes tomorrow. If we have to - the quiz will reschedule to Monday.

Finals are next week. As soon as students can show me a completed final review they are welcome to check in their textbook.

Welcome back!

Welcome back from Thanksgiving break. This week in American Government we will continue to review our information over the federal government and take the EOC on either Wednesday or Thursday (depending on what hour you have the class). Immediately after the test, we will start on the Missouri Constitution. I will announce the test date asap.

Sociology students will start the Prejudice and Discrimination Unit. We will have a book assignment in class on Wednesday and an article in class on Thursday. We will have one more quiz prior to finals week on a date tba.

Have a great week!
